Our Story
Founded in 2004, the International Center for Research and Sustainable Development (ICRSD) emerged from a vision to create a global platform where researchers, policymakers, and practitioners could collaborate to address the world's most pressing sustainability challenges.
Over the past two decades, ICRSD has grown into a leading international research institution, bringing together over 450 researchers from more than 50 countries. Our work spans diverse fields including climate change, renewable energy, biodiversity conservation, sustainable urban development, water resources, and social innovation.
Through our commitment to excellence in research and our extensive network of partnerships with universities, research institutions, governments, and NGOs worldwide, we have contributed to significant advances in understanding and addressing sustainable development challenges.
Today, ICRSD continues to be at the forefront of sustainability research, organizing international conferences, publishing cutting-edge research, and training the next generation of sustainability leaders.
